Waste at MDCPS' cafeteria and is the food really "healthy"
A visit to a Miami-Dade County Public Schools is enough to cause outrage.
First of all, any environmentalist would be taken aback by the enormous waste of food and packing - which students are forced to take. The cafeteria policy is not only illogical - it is also disturbing.
Parents, too, would be shocked to see that many of the food items offered to students and branded as "healthy," are in fact, processed foods which qualify as "junk food,"
