My Interview with Telemundo on First Amendment Issues at Miami-Dade School Board Meetings
Although this interview is in Spanish, and I know not all of you will be able to understand it, you may pick up on what I am saying anyway.
The interview has to do with some people not being able to say names some of the time at Miami-Dade County Public School Board meetings.
That is, if a speaker states names in praise, it is allowed. But when the speaker states names when being critical of someone, specifically school board members or elected officials, speech is chilled or prohibited.
I will keep fighting for the teachers' right to speak up and speak out.
Will you join me? We can make a difference - if only we tried.
